Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, October 25, after Apple decided to hold a special event on the theme of "Scary Fast" on October 31, Tianfeng Securities analyst Guo Mingyi tweeted that the event is expected to focus on M3 series chips, which may include M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips.
Guo Mingyi said that if Apple announces M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips at this event, it is expected to be equipped in 13-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.
Guo Mingyi said Apple was unlikely to launch a new MacBook Pro model in 2023, mainly because shipments were limited in the fourth quarter of 2023.
If the new MacBook Pro does go on sale in November or December, supply will remain tight until the first quarter of 2024.
CTOnews.com previously reported that Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said Apple had been testing the MacBook Pro models of the M3 Max and M3 Pro, suggesting that Apple would update the devices.
Gurman just announced last week that Apple won't update its 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro and M3 Max chips until early 2024, so it looks like his predictions have changed since then.
Both Guo and Gurman now say Apple will launch 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models at its October event, while their previous revelations said Apple would postpone the update until 2024.
