Sony "not in the past" game cancels DRM encryption and launches on GOG platform

According to news from IT House on October 26, Sony's zombie game "not the past" quietly launched on the GOG platform today, just in time for tens of thousands of Halloween events.

Like all other games in the GOG Store, this version of "not the past" is completely unprotected by DRM encryption, that is, it can be copied and played at will, which is the DRM Free strategy that the GOG Store has always advocated.

The 2023 Halloween sale at the GOG store has just begun, with a 67 per cent initial discount, bringing the price of "never again" to $16.49 (IT House Note: currently about RMB121). The Halloween sale, which runs until November 1, includes more than 3300 DRM-free games.

"not the past", formerly an exclusive game for Sony's PS platform, launched on PC in May 2021, bringing a number of PC-compatible features. The story of the game is set two years after a massive viral infection broke out around the world, and the protagonist wants to survive in the United States, where social order has collapsed.
