CTOnews.com, Oct. 26, according to a press release issued by Microsoft today, plans to integrate Workflows into Microsoft Teams applications to save employees time, minimize errors and improve productivity by automating repetitive tasks.

Microsoft Power Automate is the underlying platform that facilitates the automation of processes and activities by connecting different applications inside and outside Microsoft 365 programs.

The entire experience is now called "Workflows" in Microsoft Teams, and employees can now use Workflows applications to discover, create, edit, and manage all workflows.

Microsoft has also opened a special Workflows area in Teams Store, listing a large number of template tools from third-party companies such as Jira, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Bitbucket, Zendesk, Freshdesk and YouTube.

Teams also adds a new menu option to its channel and chat list, allowing users to create and configure new Workflows in Teams chat or channels, and to use various Workflows templates in chat.

Microsoft has not yet announced when Teams will integrate Workflows.
