CTOnews.com October 27, Microsoft today released a KB5031455 update for Win11 for Release Preview Channel's Windows Insider project members. After installation, the version number has been upgraded to Build 22631.2506.

According to Microsoft's official update log, the preview update for RP Channel mainly marks the application of the system component as the "system" tag in the list of all applications under the start menu.

This update is only applicable to Win11 23H2 users. This update includes all new features, improvements and bug fixes of the Win11 22H2 system.

The update for this release is optional and will be integrated into the cumulative update released on the Tuesday event day of the November patch.
