CTOnews.com news on October 27, Qunchuang Optoelectronics released its third-quarter results, with consolidated revenue of NT $57.7 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about NT $13.04 billion), an increase of 20% year on year and 4.7% month on month. Net operating loss was NT $1.6 billion, net loss after tax was NT $1.9 billion, and basic loss per share was NT $0.21. Depreciation and amortization is NT $7.6 billion and capital expenditure is NT $5.3 billion.

Revenue in the first three quarters was NT $158.336 billion (currently about NT $35.784 billion), up 11% from a year earlier; gross profit margin was 0.81%, profit margin was-9.81%; after-tax loss was NT $15.406 billion, or NT $1.64 per share.

In the third quarter, the overall shipping area was 6.47 million square meters, down 6.7% from the previous month, and the LCD panel sold at US $279 per square meter.

Revenue in the third quarter is divided by product applications: 37% for e-commerce, 22% for portable computers, 21% for automotive products, 13% for mobile and commercial products, and 7% for desktop displays.

It is distinguished by product size: 15% for less than 10 inches, 33% for 10 to 20 inches, 15% for 20 to 30 inches, 7% for 30 to 40 inches, and 30% for over 40 inches. The proportion of revenue in display industry group and non-display field group accounts for 78% and 22%.
