CTOnews.com, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) according to ResetEra whistleblower @ Head on the Block, Sony is now changing its game strategy to reduce its focus on GaaS (service games) and use third-party vendors to supplement its IP camp.

It is said that Sega and Wandai Nanmeng Palace are developing exclusive new works for them, especially the former is developing an IP that "can clean the floor". But with caution, "it will take at least four years to see some change".

It is said that Sony postponed the Last Survivor multiplayer derivative game earlier this year and later "froze" the development project and eventually cut the game. Since then, many people have begun to question the sustainability of Sony's strategy, especially in well-known studios like naughty dogs.

Critics argue that it is wrong to shift traditional single-player games to GaaS.
