Supply chain sources say Apple will upgrade its iPhone 16 Pro / Max telephoto lens

According to supply chain sources, Apple plans to use more advanced glass lens modules to achieve thinner, lighter designs, shorter lenses and improved optical zoom capabilities, but the production process is complex and the initial production is insufficient. The initial launch is limited to telephoto lenses.
It is reported that Apple recently sent a representative to visit Hoya, a supplier of molded glass.
