CTOnews.com translated a user feedback as follows:

I am currently using an alien laptop and have tried to install this update several times, getting stuck at 97% progress and then canceling the update.

I don't know if it's due to low memory or something else, but I don't want to install this update by reverting to factory settings.

In addition to the installation failure, users reported performance issues while playing the game after installing the KB5031455 update. Players reported that after installing the update, some games crashed after running, and even failed to start directly.
