CTOnews.com, Nov. 2 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft has provided its enterprise customers with AI-based productivity service Microsoft 365Copilot, which will add generative AI functions to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applications, with each user paying a monthly fee of $30 and an annual fee.

Microsoft said in a blog post that customers currently using Microsoft 365E3 and E5 enterprise packages can start using Microsoft 365Copilot's Bing Enterprise chat Robot today.

Microsoft says the service currently supports the following languages:

English (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, India)

Spanish (Spain, Mexico)

Japanese

French (France, Canada)

German

Portuguese (Brazil)

Italian

Simplified Chinese

In the first half of 2024, the service will add support for the following languages:

Arabic

Traditional Chinese

Czech language

Danish

Dutch

Finnish language

Hebrew

Hungarian

Korean

Norwegian language

Polish

Portuguese (Portugal)

Russian

Swedish

Thai

Turkish

Ukrainian

Microsoft also plans to launch Microsoft 365 Copilot GCC in the summer of 2024, specifically for government customers. It has not been disclosed when a consumer-oriented version will be launched.

Microsoft has previously added Copilot to Windows 11 and marked it as a public preview in the September Moment 4 update.

According to a report by CNBC, Piper Sandler analysts Brent Bracelin and Hannah Rudoff predict that the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot could increase Microsoft's annual revenue by as much as $10 billion (CTOnews.com Note: about 73.3 billion yuan) by 2026.
