Microsoft Modular VR head display Patent approved: more flexible Control of various Application scenarios

CTOnews.com, November 2, according to the list recently announced by the US Trademark and Patent Office, Microsoft has obtained a patent for modular VR header display technology, which can dynamically adjust the header display configuration according to the user's environment.

In the modular head display system conceived by Microsoft, the glasses and frame are divided into different modules and connected through the interface, which makes it convenient for users to upgrade for sensors and display units, so as to obtain higher computing power, storage and battery life.

CTOnews.com learned from the patent that Microsoft said that the use of modular head display can not only reduce waste and cost, but also expand the application scenarios of head display to dynamically match the required modules according to different needs such as entertainment, industry, health care and so on.
