The NASA probe found a "strange face" on the surface of Jupiter, which is actually the result of clouds and storms.

CTOnews.com, Nov. 2 (Xinhua)-- NASA's Juno spacecraft captured a "strange face" while flying over Jupiter on Halloween, compared by NASA to a Picasso-style painting, the Independent reported on Wednesday local time.

As for the cause of this "strange face", it is reported that because of Jupiter's swirling clouds and surging storms, the viewing area is located at the end of Jupiter, the dividing line between Jupiter's day and night.

CTOnews.com note: because Jupiter has a very volatile weather system, observers can often see swirling clouds on Jupiter.

NASA officials say the clouds of Jupiter seen from Juno often cause hallucinations, and observers can see faces or other patterns in these random patterns. Scientists also point out that low-angle sunlight highlights the complex surface features of parts of Jupiter and will be studied to better understand changes in Jupiter's atmosphere.
