"Ocean of the Stars: the second Story R" Global rating lifted: GameSpot 8 points "A New interpretation of traditional Games"

CTOnews.com, November 2, the classic RPG reproduction game "Ocean of the Stars: the second Story R (Star Ocean: The Second Story R)" produced by Square Enix will be officially released today. The game has been released on Switch, PS5, PS4 and Steam platforms. The global media review has been lifted.

At present, the average score of PS5 version on M site is 86 (19 media), Switch version 86 (14 media), PC version 85 (4 media), while GameSpot gives this work 8 points, but IGN has not yet rated it:

The GameSpot 8-point "Ocean of Stars" series has always been underestimated in the Japanese RPG type. Although it has existed for more than 25 years, it has never been as successful as the Goddess in recent years.

Many game fans think that the 1999 "Ocean of Stars: the second Story" is the best work, and now Squre Enix has reset it.

Ocean of Stars: the second Story R uses retro visual effects and a new fighting mechanism to find a good balance between nostalgia and modernity. The remade version has a good performance in music, pictures and soundtrack, and the character lineup is interesting and diverse.

However, the time provided by the dodge mechanism in the game battle is not very friendly, and the plot is relatively simple.
