CTOnews.com November 3 news, Google announced yesterday that it will make changes to Google AdSense, mainly to update the revenue structure of Google AdSense, change "click pricing" to "exposure pricing", and transparent advertising purchase process.

The changes will be launched next year, and Google claims that the income of webmasters who put Google Ads into their websites is not expected to change as a result of the update.

CTOnews.com found that webmasters who previously put Google Ads into their own websites directly earned 68 per cent of advertising revenue, while Google's new policy split Google Ads revenues into "webmasters" and advertising platforms, which earned the rest of the revenue after the advertising platform charged fees.

For example, when advertisers pay for ads at Google Ads's official office, Google Ads retains an average of 15 per cent of advertisers' spending, and the webmaster gets the remaining 68 per cent. If advertisers buy Google Ads through other advertising platforms, webmasters can also earn 68 per cent of the revenue after deducting fees charged by third-party platforms.

In addition, Google Ads, which used to pay "webmasters" based on the number of clicks, has now decided to turn to exposure pricing, which is commonly used in the industry, to make it easier for webmasters to compare the benefits of Google Ads with other platforms.
