A British school uses artificial intelligence as its principal to help teachers better understand each student.
CTOnews.com, November 6 (Xinhua)-- the British Cotzmore School recently announced that it has used an artificial intelligence system as its "chief principal" to help teachers better understand the needs of each student. The goal of this artificial intelligence system is to help teachers impart knowledge in a more appropriate way according to the learning characteristics of each student.
Before using the artificial intelligence system, the school made some changes to it. These changes include the removal of human images and names from the artificial intelligence system, which was originally called Abigail Bailey, but the school renamed it ABI, which may be easier to pronounce.
After removing the human image, the artificial intelligence system can no longer answer questions with mouth and facial expressions. Now it can only advise teachers on how to teach according to the individual needs of each student. CTOnews.com noted that this is the first time that schools have used artificial intelligence systems to assist in teaching, with a view to paying better attention to each student.
It is reported that the school is also developing other artificial intelligence models to make teaching materials. These upcoming artificial intelligence models will be similar to the ABI model and may only be used by teachers.
