AI Summary comment topic

Google is trying to use AI to summarize a large number of comments in long videos into easy-to-understand topics for discussion. Google says creators can use these review summaries to discuss comments or draw inspiration for new content.

Topics are extracted from published comments and are not created from comments that are pending or contain blocked words. If the user participates in the test, when the mobile device opens the comment, you will see a new option to sort some videos by topic.

Conversational AI tool

The tool allows users to get answers to questions about the video they are watching, recommendations for related content, and so on, without interrupting the playback. For some academic videos, the tool can help with the learning journey by providing quizzes and answers that encourage deeper understanding.

From now on, a small number of users will be able to use the feature on some videos, and US YouTube Premium members of Android devices will be able to join the experiment in the next few weeks.
