According to reports, the cooperation will mainly include a "AI Design Copilot" system, with which Xbox developers can create detailed scripts, dialogue trees, task lines, and so on.

She said the collaboration will bring together Inworld's expertise in character development using the generative AI model, Microsoft's cloud-based AI solutions, including Azure OpenAI services, Microsoft research's technical insight into future games, and the strengths of the Xbox team in terms of creator tools, aimed at serving all developers.

CTOnews.com sees from official sources that this multi-platform artificial intelligence toolkit will include a "AI Design Copilot" for scripting and dialogue, as well as an AI character engine that can be integrated into games and used to dynamically generate stories, tasks and conversations.

Microsoft also mentioned that Inworld has been working on AI NPC that can respond to players' actions on its own, just as ChatGPT or Bing Chat respond to user queries.
