According to previously exposed EPA documents, the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 will be powered by a turbocharged 3.0L (M256) engine with an output power of about 429hp (320 kW / 435 PS) and a torque of 384 lb-ft (520 Nm), 54 hp (40 kW / 55 PS) and 15 lb-ft (20 Nm) higher than the CLE 450 4MATIC.
