CTOnews.com has the following new changes to Arena mode:

Players can now form teams of 2 or 4 and decide who is on which team; 8 people are also allowed to queue together and be assigned their own exclusive games. Except for the 8-man team, the other teams will still perform regular matching, that is, they will also gain and lose winning points.

The enhancement runes in the arena have been significantly changed, adding 60 new enhancement runes and limiting the number of each enhancement rune. Hexagon Portal will debut at Polaris Arena. These portals will help fragile classes such as mages and softies who need to keep their distance. To gain more space, portals will share cooldowns, allowing heroes to escape faster. Portal locations are randomly located on the battlefield, so you need to improvise and adjust your battle plan.

This mode introduces a "down state." After each player dies, a circular area begins to form where they fell. After a certain period of time, teammates could stand in this area and revive the player. Each team has only one chance to resurrect per round. In a situation where a teammate gets killed instantly, this mechanism should make the rest of the team less desperate.

Arena ranks will reset, so you'll need to start again with Woodwood Gladiator. Match scores will be partially reset.
