CTOnews.com, Nov. 8, Chrome is the mainstream browser product in the industry, and Google has been optimizing and improving its performance. Google boasted in its latest official blog that Chrome browsers (desktop and Android versions) have saved users 10, 000 years of waiting for web pages to load.

Google blogs about experience optimization for Core Web Vitals (CWV), which examines millions of pages and defines a common standard for fast, user-friendly pages.

In addition, Google updated its search ranking algorithm in August 2021, taking into account factors such as whether pages meet the speed and usability standards set by CWV.

After these changes, Google says the average page load speed of Chrome is now 166ms faster. This may seem like a small improvement, but small changes can add up and have a significant impact on the network. By 2023, the project saved users more than 10000 years of waiting time for web pages to load and 1200 years of waiting time for web pages to respond to user input.

CTOnews.com found in his blog that Google also tracks the number of page jumps that meet CWV requirements. Currently, the satisfaction rate for mobile devices is 64.45% (previously 64%) and that for desktop devices is 68.39% (previously 67%). The Chrome data team expects the satisfaction rate to reach 69% by the end of this year.
