AMD next-generation desktop APU revealed: four optional 8300G-8700G

CTOnews.com November 8 news, according to HKEPC news, AMD's upcoming desktop APU will be named 8000G series, available in R3 8300G, R5 8500G, R5 8600G and R7 8700G.

According to reports, R3 8300G and R5 8500G will adopt the mixed core design of Zen4 + Zen4C, with 4-core and 6-core specifications respectively, equipped with 4CU display, and are expected to be R5 7545U and R3 7440U desktop portable versions. R58600G and R78700G have 6 cores and 8 cores respectively, and their nuclei are 8CU and 12CU, respectively.

In terms of release time, HKEPC said that AMD has not yet talked to manufacturers about the launch date of the 8000G series of processors. AMD has currently provided ES sample testing and is expected to be available early next year.

According to CTOnews.com, manufacturers such as ASRock and Asustek have released AGESA 1.1.0.0 firmware for their X670 motherboards to further support the unreleased Ruilong desktop APU.
