Hackers can realize remote control by exposure of new ObjCShellz malware aimed at Apple Mac
CTOnews.com, Nov. 9 (Xinhua)-- Internet security company Jamf Threat Labs has discovered a new malware called "ObjCShellz" for Apple's Mac devices, which can be remotely accessed and controlled by attackers once Mac is infected.
Jamf linked the malware to BlueNoroff Advanced Persistent Threat, a hacker group that targeted banks, cryptocurrency exchanges and venture capitalists.
"ObjCShellz" is created in the Objective-C programming language, and after infection, the user runs the shell command received from the hacker server, allowing the hacker to remotely control the Mac.
Malware can also obtain information about Mac (such as the running version of macOS) and send that information to the server for hackers to analyze.
