Humane screen-less wearable device Ai Pin for more details: $699 for a $24 monthly subscription

CTOnews.com, Nov. 9 (Xinhua)-- Humane, founded by two former Apple design and engineering executives, will today release its first wearable AI device, the Ai Pin, a miniature monochromatic projection placed on clothing that can interact on the palm of the hand. At present, more details of the device have been released.

It is reported that AI Pin positioning is an alternative to smartphones, not smartphone accessories, and the device itself costs $699 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 5089 yuan), with an additional monthly subscription fee of $24 (currently about 175 yuan) for access to OpenAI's AI model.

The AI Pin can be easily fastened to the user's clothes through a magnetic clip. The battery pack of the device is also built into the clip, so you can change the clip to ensure that the AI Pin runs all day. AI Pin will come with two "battery clips" by default, but the battery life of a single battery clip is not known.

In terms of performance, the AI Pin is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, uses cameras, depth sensors and motion sensors to track and record the surrounding environment, has a built-in speaker and supports connection to Bluetooth headsets.

In terms of interaction, AI Pin's system, called Cosmos, is based on voice interaction and can also put information into your hands for interaction. In addition, users can also use AI Pin's camera to identify objects, identify food calories, translate language and other content.
