CTOnews.com November 9, Take-Two Interactive released its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024 ended September 30, 2023.

The company reported a loss of $3.20 per share and total revenue of $1.44 billion. The company's revenue exceeded analysts' expectations and earnings per share fell below analysts' expectations.

Take-Two shares fell 3 per cent in after-hours trading after the results were announced, but have risen 1.74 per cent as of CTOnews.com 's press release.

GTA5 sold about 190 million copies in the quarter (up about 5 million from the previous quarter), its retail sales reached $1 billion faster than any entertainment product, and it is one of the best-selling games in the United States in the past decade; and the cumulative sales of the GTA series have exceeded 410 million.

In addition, "the Wild Dart: redemption 2" sold 5700 copies. Meanwhile, Rockstar Games also confirmed that a trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto game will be released in early December.
