CTOnews.com, November 9, 4 years after the launch of the raspberry pie 4 single board computer, the raspberry pie 5 was officially released at the end of October. Compared to the previous generation, the raspberry pie 5 has mainly improved performance and added support for PCIe 2.0, starting at $60 (currently about 439 yuan).

But manufacturers are still waiting for news of the raspberry pie CM5 computing module, and a developer named Arturo182 has designed a board that looks a bit like the raspberry pie CM4, which can turn the raspberry pie 5 body into a "raspberry pie CM5 computing module", but the board currently has no business plan and is more "just for trouble".

▲ drawing source Arturo182 it is reported that the board provides full access to GPIO, with PCIe, HDMI, CSI, DSI and other interfaces, users can use this board to communicate with CM4-compatible devices.

CTOnews.com learned from the post posted by Arturo182 on the X platform that the board can be successfully connected to the CM4 Maker Board of Cytron Tech, or it can be installed using the operating system using the PCIe interface on the board with M.2 SSD.
