New BMW MINI JCW COUNTRYMAN High performance Compact SUV released for delivery in 2024

CTOnews.com November 9 news, BMW's MINI brand today released a brand-new MINI JCW COUNTRYMAN official map, the car is positioned in a high-performance compact SUV, retaining a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, is expected to be put into production in Germany in March 2024, and delivered to consumers in mid-late 2024.

The new MINI JCW COUNTRYMAN has a significant change in appearance compared to the current model, with a larger body size and longer wheelbase. The new car retains the classic design elements of MINI COUNTRYMAN, such as square windows and round and lovely styling, while adding more sporty details such as large size smoked black mesh, sharp headlights, red trim strips and rear spoiler. The taillights of the new car also adopt a brand-new style, with the license plate position moved down, the tailgate opening moved up, the rear bumper thicker and the visual effect wider.

In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with a 9.44-inch circular large screen, running MINI's latest generation of vehicle system Mini Operating System 9, providing eight different display modes, bringing unique interactive experience to drivers through interior lighting, interface design and sound. The center console of the new car has significantly reduced physical buttons, most of which are controlled by the touch screen, while the center console area is decorated with red woven fibers, adding to the stylish feel of the interior.

In terms of power, the new MINI JCW COUNTRYMAN will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 316 hp, a maximum torque of 400N·m, 0-100km/h acceleration in just 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). In terms of transmission system, the new car is expected to abandon the 8-speed automatic transmission and switch to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In addition, the new car is only available in an all-wheel drive version.

The new John Cooper Works Countryman starts at $46900 in the U.S.(CTOnews.com notes: currently about 341,000 yuan), and the first cars are expected to arrive at dealers in May 2024.
