Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Alejandro86 for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, Nov. 10, the latest PassMark benchmark results for Apple's M3 CPU have been released, with two M3 Pro ranking first and third in the single-threaded benchmark, respectively.

However, it is worth noting that the M3 Pro processor at the top of the PassMark single-threaded benchmark is the 11-core version, while the 12-core version ranks third, and the i9-14900KF ranks second, which proves that the performance of the M3 Pro processor is basically the same as that of the i9-14900KF single thread.

From the test results of the M3 series processors in PassMark, CTOnews.com learned that after 11-core M3 Pro processors (single-threaded 4910 points), the second place was 12-core M3 Pro processors with a score of 4841, followed by a 16-core M3 Max processor with a score of 4816, and finally an 8-core M3 processor with a score of 4784.

In terms of multithreaded performance, Intel Core i9-14900K significantly surpassed the 16-core M3 Max with 34% higher performance and 56% higher performance than the 12-core M3 Pro.
