CTOnews.com November 10 news, SAIC General Motors issued an announcement, SAIC GM and Tesla China to start charging network interconnection cooperation.

It is expected that from the end of 2023, owners of SAIC GM's Cadillac and Buick brand Autenon pure electric models will log on to the relevant App of the brand and, through the charging map function, will be able to charge at the super charging stations and destination charging stations that Tesla opens to some non-Tesla vehicles, supporting one-stop integrated charging services, including pile hunting, navigation, charging and payment.

CTOnews.com inquiry learned that so far, Tesla has opened 10 super charging stations and more than 200 destination charging stations to some non-Tesla vehicles on Chinese mainland.

SAIC GM said that so far, SAIC GM has completed 52 self-built brand charging stations and 246 charging piles. In addition to opening cooperation with Tesla China, SAIC GM is currently partnering with six other mainstream charging operators.
