Microsoft officials say that after November 30, users will no longer be able to access, download and use Outlook extensions in Edge and Chrome browsers.

Microsoft said it would inform users of the launch in late November and planned to complete it in late December.

Microsoft officials say users will not be able to use Outlook browser extensions after December, and users of Edge or Chrome browsers can transition to Outlook on Edge sidebars, Outlook apps or Outlook Web.

It is not clear whether the adjustment will also be extended to consumers.
