A Microsoft spokesman said that the temporary ban on access occurred when the company was testing the Big language Model (LLM) terminal control system, but recommended that employees use Bing Chat Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise, indicating that the above products have better security and privacy.

CNBC reported that Microsoft employees were temporarily restricted access to ChatGPT on Thursday. Microsoft later said it was a mistake. CTOnews.com translated Microsoft's official statement as follows:

We were testing LLM's terminal control system, inadvertently turned on this option for all users, and soon after we found an error, we restored the service.
