CTOnews.com November 11, AMD released Threadripper 7000 and AMD Threadripper 7000 PRO processors in October, using Zen4 architecture, up to 96 cores of 192 threads, starting retail on November 21.

According to momomo_us, the Pro WS TRX50-SAGE motherboard designed by Asustek for this series of processors has been launched on overseas e-commerce platforms for a price of $1088 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 7942 yuan).

The Asustek Pro WS TRX50-SAGE motherboard supports up to 96-core CPU in AMD SP6 sockets for AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 series processors and AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series processors; supports up to 1TB ECC R-DIMM DDR5 memory modules (1DPC); 36-phase power, with two 8-pin power connectors for CPU, and uses large VRM heat sinks.

In terms of scalability, the motherboard features three PCIe 5.0x16 slots, 10 Gb and 2.5Gb LAN ports, three M.2 slots, front and rear USB 20Gbps Type-C and SlimSAS NVMe support.
