The developer of "Soul Killer 2" returns to the Vanguard game project: cooperate with Tencent to enhance the mode of multi-player cooperation.

CTOnews.com November 14 news, Lvmeidi Entertainment (Remedy Entertainment) recently issued a press release, saying that the 2021 official announced Vanguard game project has re-entered the proof-of-concept stage, the new code name is Kestral.

Lvmeidi Entertainment, announced in 2021, will work with Tencent to develop the game, which was originally conceived as a "game as a service" free game with multi-player cooperation elements, using Epic Games's illusory engine rather than its own Northlight engine.

In a recent press release, Remedy Entertainment CEO Tero Virtala said that the Vanguard project had reached the end of the proof-of-concept phase. It had planned to work with Tencent to open an advanced gaming business model and would retain the multi-player cooperation function, but now it has returned to the proof-of-concept stage and is now promoted under the new code name "Kestral".
