Apple's Apple Pencil for USB-C pushes the first firmware update labeled "Gen 3"
CTOnews.com, Nov. 15, Apple today released the iOS / iPadOS 17.2 Beta 3 update to developers, as well as its first firmware version 10M5164Magi version 35347.35347.16 for the USB-C version Apple Pencil.
Apple has not officially released the update log, so it is not clear which fixes and improvements are included. It is worth noting, however, that in this update, Apple marked the USB-C version of Apple Pencil as "Apple Pencil Gen 3".
CTOnews.com Note: Apple officially does not provide dedicated upgrade software, users can connect the USB-C version of Apple Pencil to the iPad, which should automatically trigger the firmware update.
