According to Jin Hailong, Panasonic and Xiaomi reached lighting cooperation in 2021 and air conditioning cooperation in June 2023. However, Panasonic and Xiaomi air-conditioning cooperation began in 2018, but only this year, lasting five years.

In August this year, Panasonic produced the first millet air conditioner; in September this year, Panasonic produced the first millet refrigerator. The two sides will also cooperate in more household categories in the future.

According to CTOnews.com previously reported, in June this year, Xiaomi Group's home appliance air conditioning department announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Panasonic air conditioners. The two sides will establish resource sharing in R & D, production and manufacturing of air conditioning products to form a multi-level and multi-field strategic cooperation relationship.
