With new packaging, AMD continues to sell 14nm's Speedo 3000G processors

CTOnews.com November 16, AMD launched the Athlon 3000G dual-core Zen processor in November 2019, which integrates Radeon Vega 3 core display and is manufactured using GlobalFoundries's 14nm technology.

The CPU is targeted at the entry market, and AMD has not considered stopping production of the CPU after four years, and launched a new retail package for it.

According to netizens, AMD uses a new package for Athlon 3000G, item number YD3000C6FHSBX, while the previous item number is YD3000C6FBBOX, and the packaging of the new Athlon 3000G uses a minimalist graphic design while retaining a notch to show the processor itself.

It is expected that there will be no change in the internal chip, and CTOnews.com reported in May that AMD will reproduce a 3000G processor in order to expand the low-end market.
