Microsoft Media creation tool officially supports Win11 23H2: reduced installation package size, downloadable Build 22631.2715

CTOnews.com November 17 news, Microsoft officially launched the Win11 23H2 update, when Microsoft has not updated the media creation tool (Windows Media Creation Tool), is still stuck in Win11 22H2.

Today, however, Microsoft announced that the media creation tool has been updated, and users can get the latest version of Windows 11 23H2 through the media creation tool. CTOnews.com notes that the media creation tool is currently downloaded as Build 22631.2715.

Another change is that the Windows 11 23H2 ISO generated using the media creation tool is about 1GB smaller than the 6.2GB ISO file available on the Microsoft download portal, and Microsoft has previously announced that it is polishing the media creation tool to further reduce the size of the installation package.
