CTOnews.com November 17, Microsoft today issued a press release confirming that it will introduce Bing Chat and GPT-4-based Copilot in Windows to Win10 users of Release Preview channels in the form of a preview version.

Microsoft plans to introduce Copilot into Win10 in the coming weeks for consumer-grade devices that use home, professional, or corporate devices that have not yet been managed.

Microsoft says users need to download and install KB5032278 updates and need at least 4GB memory with a screen resolution higher than (including) 720p, otherwise they won't be able to run Bing Chat and Copilot on the desktop side.

After Win10 users update, you can access Copilot on the taskbar system tray. Unlike Win11, the Copilot on Win10 is at the end of the taskbar. The picture attached to CTOnews.com is as follows:

Microsoft places a Copilot button next to the operations center (Action Center). As with Win11, when you click this button, a side panel supported by Bing Chat appears on the right.

However, compared to the Win11 version, Copilot on Win10 has some limitations, and because there is no deep integration, you cannot open the application or change the settings.
