Samsung UK exposed information leak: hacker intrusion lasted as long as one year, but it was discovered three years later.

Samsung said in the letter that the system was not discovered to have been compromised until November 13, 2023, three years later, and that the names, phone numbers, postal addresses and e-mail addresses of the affected users may have been leaked.

A Samsung spokesman translated by CTOnews.com read as follows: "there is no evidence that the data stolen by the hackers contains the user's bank or credit card details or customer passwords", adding that the company has reported the problem to the Office of the Information Commissioner (ICO).
