CTOnews.com news on November 18, Western Digital overseas official website shows that the newly released 24TB Ultrastar DC HC580 data center-class mechanical hard drives will arrive within 2 weeks, the price of 630 U.S. dollars (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 4549 yuan).

According to Western Digital's official website, the new Ultrastar DC HC580 hard drive features a 3.5in shape and SATA interface, uses CMR technology, is equipped with 512MB cache, has a speed of 7200 RPM and can reach a transmission speed of up to 298 MB/s. For comparison, the 22TB Ultrastar DC HC570 launched last year has a transmission speed of 291 MB/s, and JD.com currently sells it for 3999 yuan.

Western Digital 24TB WD Gold gold disk HDD has also been put on the shelves overseas, also priced at $630.
