With 188 destination charging piles, the largest Tesla destination charging station in China was completed in Shenzhen.

CTOnews.com, November 19, according to Shenzhen release today, Tesla inaugurated the destination charging station of overseas Chinese Town Square in Shenzhen on Friday. The station has set up 188 destination charging piles, which is the largest of the more than 700 Tesla charging stations in the country. In addition, the charging station is also open to non-Tesla owners.

Statistics show that so far, Tesla has opened 61 super charging stations, 537 super charging piles, 28 destination charging stations and 341 destination charging piles in Shenzhen. In the core business district of Shenzhen, it claims to have access to a Tesla supercharging station in 15 minutes.

According to Zhang Chi, product manager of Tesla charging team, there are more than 700 charging stations and more than 2000 charging piles in China. Non-Tesla pure electric car owners can also view nearby available stations and available piles, which can provide 7kW charging power for vehicles. Tesla vehicles support the maximum destination charging power of 21kW, with electricity charging from 0 to 80 percent for 6 hours at the fastest.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, in addition to destination charging stations / piles, Tesla had completed more than 1800 super charging stations and 11000 super charging piles in Chinese mainland as of November 1, 2023, covering Chinese mainland provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the Central Government, including Mount Everest and Mohe.
