CTOnews.com, Nov. 20, according to The Information, former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (Sam Altman) and former president Greg Brockmann (Greg Brockman) met with executives at the company's San Francisco headquarters.

Altman posted a photo of himself wearing an OpenAI visitor pass on X, saying it was "the first and last time I wore this."

Microsoft and other investors are working to reinstate Altman and reshuffle the board, according to four people familiar with the matter. Two of them said Mr Altman could be reinstated as CEO as early as Sunday, but one of them warned that the board remained an obstacle.

Last night (Thursday night, local time), Sam received a text message from chief scientist Ilya Saskeville (Ilya Sutskever) asking for a conversation at noon on Friday. Sam attended a Google Meet meeting and the whole board of directors was present except Greg. Elijah told Sam that he would be fired, and the news would soon get out.

At 12:23, Elijah sent a Google Meet link. Greg was told that he would be removed from the board (but he was vital to the company and would retain his position) and that Sam had been fired. At about the same time, OpenAI published a blog post.

The management team soon realized this, except for interim CEO Mira Murati (Mira Murati), who had discovered it the night before.

On Friday, local time, OpenAI announced that Sam Altman would resign as chief executive and leave the board and be replaced by technology director Mira Murati Murati, effective immediately.
