It is understood that the medium-sized electric bus J7 seats 61 people and is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate blade battery independently developed by BYD. Its mileage can reach 250km on a single charge, which is compatible with the CHAdeMO charging standard. The maximum 90kW is 8990 × 2300 × 3255mm.

At present, BYD has accounted for more than 70% of the Japanese electric bus market, and plans to achieve cumulative sales of 4000 vehicles in Japan by 2030. BYD's electric buses and taxis are used every day in more than 400 cities in 70 countries and regions around the world. As of last month, BYD had delivered a total of 100000 electric vehicles worldwide.

BYD has delivered five electric buses to Japan in the past eight years and currently has 153 vehicles in operation.
