Microsoft Edge browser launches a new feature: send photos directly from your phone to your computer

The new feature, already available in the latest version of Edge, allows users to easily upload photos to Facebook, LinkedIn and other sites.

CTOnews.com notes that to use the new feature, users need to pair their phones with computers using QR codes. Once paired, users can select photos from their phones and upload them directly to the site they are browsing.

If you want to upload photos from your phone to a website, you can follow these simple steps: First, open Edge Dev or Canary browser on your computer and go to the website you want to upload photos to. Second, click on the "Upload from Mobile" button on the website.

From the pop-up options, select your own device. At this time, a two-dimensional code will appear on the computer screen. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera and select the photos you want to upload from your phone. After selecting the photo, click "Upload File."

The computer displays a message asking if the user agrees to the file transfer. Click "OK" to start the file transfer. After the file transfer is complete, the computer will prompt that the photo has been successfully uploaded.

The new feature is expected to be available to the public, making it easier and faster for users to transfer photos from their phones to their computers.
