Lenovo announces car computing roadmap: joint Nvidia push domain controller, Huang Renxun platform

CTOnews.com, November 21, at the 9th Lenovo Innovation and Technology Conference (Lenovo Tech World 2023) held in late October, Yang Yuanqing, chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, delivered an opening speech with the theme "AI for All, Let artificial Intelligence benefit everyone", and demonstrated Lenovo's first AIPC, large model compression technology, cockpit intelligence partner, artificial intelligence twins (AI Twin) and a series of artificial intelligence achievements.

Yang Yuanqing introduced the product layout of Lenovo car computing in his speech, pointing out that in the future, smart cars will be more like super PC on wheels, and the measurement of car performance standards will also change from horsepower to computing power. Lenovo's domain-controlled products will support intelligent cockpits, self-driving and smart screens, and large models based on car scenarios will also become intelligent partners to understand, help and accompany users.

CTOnews.com noted that during the event, Lenovo released a car computing roadmap, including three new intelligent domain control products based on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform:

Lenovo XH1: integrated central computing unit of cabin and driver

Lenovo AH1:L2++ ADAS domain controller

Lenovo AD1:L4 autopilot domain controller

Huang Renxun, founder and CEO of Nvidia, also appeared at the conference as a platform for new products of Lenovo domain controllers.
