CTOnews.com November 21 news, Huawei officially announced that Huawei MatePad 2023 and other four tablets open HarmonyOS 4 public beta upgrade, after the end of the public beta will be pushed to the public beta version of the users in batches. Only the following sub-models used in the mainland of China and in the baseline version are supported for public beta registration.

Please ensure that the current device system version is on the baseline version that supports upgrading. If it is not on the baseline version, please upgrade to this version online before participating in the public beta test.

Before upgrading the public beta version, please back up important data of your device to PC or cloud (please do not back up to the internal storage space of the device), especially QQ, WeChat and third-party software migration backup separately, and confirm that the backup content is complete and effective, so as to avoid data incompatibility or other accidents after upgrading.

Before upgrading to the public beta, make sure that the current version of your device is above the baseline version.

Make sure the device has more than 8 gigabytes of internal storage space, otherwise there is a risk of upgrade failure. (See Storage Space Method: Settings> Storage).

Make sure your device is not ROOT.

Beta registration only supports compatible models on the tablet-My Huawei App registration, does not support computer registration. Before participating in the public beta, please enter the App Market App, search for "My Huawei," download and update it to version 13.1.9.300 or above.

Note: "Public beta" refers to the beta version released to the public during the version development phase. Since the public beta is still in development, some applications (including three-party applications) may be unstable or incompatible.
