MediaTek Tianji 8300 GPU was exposed, comparable to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

According to CTOnews.com, November 21, MediaTek has announced that it will release the Tianji 8300 processor at 3 pm today (November 21), with the official slogan "Ice Peak Energy efficiency, Super Divine Evolution".

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Tianji 8300 processor has appeared in the GeekBench run library with the same performance as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 + Gen 2, but in the latest OpenCL run, the score is comparable to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

MediaTek's Tianji 8300 processor is equipped with Arm Mali-G615 MP6 GPU, and its running score in OpenCL is 9112 points, which is twice the Adreno 725s (4056) used in Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 + Gen 2 processor and close to Adreno 740s (9440 points) used in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The Geekbench list also shows that the GPU clock rate of the Tianji 8300 is 1400 MHz, which is higher than users expected for a chip that locates the middle end.
