CTOnews.com, November 21 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft released a new support document today, bringing a new fix solution for Microsoft users who encountered a "Something Went Wrong [1001]" error.

Microsoft acknowledges that this login issue affects users of Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 business applications, as well as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint for iOS and Android-side Office applications.

Microsoft says users may get an error message after trying to log in to the Microsoft 365 app.

Microsoft also requires affected customers to open support tickets (support tickets) in the Microsoft 365 management portal and attach Microsoft Office Authentication / identity Diagnostics (MSOAID) logs to speed up the investigation.

Microsoft recommends that users who have problems opening Microsoft 365 applications can instead use Outlook Web App (OWA) and Office Web applications or mobile applications.
