Baidu appoints JD CEO Xu ran as an independent director, effective January 1, 2024
CTOnews.com November 21 news, Baidu announced today that Xu Ran has been appointed as an independent director of the company, effective January 1, 2024.
From June 2020 to May 2023, Xu Ran served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Jingdong Group. Since May 2023, he has served as CEO and executive director of Jingdong Group.
CTOnews.com previously reported that Baidu today released its third-quarter 2023 earnings report ending September 30: total revenue was 34.4 billion yuan, up 6% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to Baidu was 6.7 billion yuan; net profit attributable to Baidu was 7.3 billion yuan without GAAP.
