The official release of the new Pentium B70: using a new design language, it will be available in early December.
CTOnews.com, Nov. 21, FAW Pentium recently released official pictures of the new Pentium B70, showing the car's appearance and interior design. The new Pentium B70 is a mid-term modified version of the third-generation model, officially known as the fourth-generation Pentium B70. The new car will go on sale in early December, and the Pentium B70 currently on sale ranges from 105900 yuan to 144900 yuan.
The new Pentium B70 uses FAW Pentium's brand-new "strength, purity, attainment" family design language in appearance, and the front face uses a frameless multi-breadth grille, with split headlamp groups and brand-new car marks, making it more fashionable. The side lines of the car body are smooth, and the back-slipping style is adopted to make it more dynamic. In the rear part, the new car uses a through taillight group, as well as a bilateral exhaust layout, showing a strong movement atmosphere. The length of the new car is 4855 mm, an increase of 45 mm compared to the current model, and the wheelbase is maintained at 2800 mm, which belongs to the category of medium-sized cars.
CTOnews.com noted that the interior of the new Pentium B70 has also changed, continuing to use an all-in-one large screen, but with a new steering wheel and logo, as well as a new shift mechanism. Officials say the new car has been upgraded in terms of interior design, material, function and ergonomics.
The power information of the new Pentium B70 has not been released yet, but some media have exposed pictures of the new car's 2.0T model, showing that the maximum power of the car is 160 kilowatts. At present, the Pentium B70 on sale offers a choice of 1.5T and 2.0T engines, of which the 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 124 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 258 Nm, and the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 165 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 340 Nm. Match 7-speed double clutch and 6-speed manual transmission respectively. Whether the new car will continue to use these two power combinations has yet to be further confirmed by officials.
