Amp WiiM audio receiver announced that it supports Apple AirPlay 2, DLNA and other protocols, with a price of $299.
CTOnews.com, November 23, Linkplay Technology today announced a wireless audio streaming output called WiiM Amp, which can be used to connect speakers that do not support Bluetooth / Wi-Fi, allowing these devices to play music wirelessly.
CTOnews.com noted that the WiiM Amp looks a bit like the Apple Mac Mini, but has an extra volume knob on the front and multiple audio ports on the back.
This audio receiver supports protocols such as AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Alea Cast, DLNA, and allows you to play regular audio formats such as MP3, FLAC, ALAC and AAC.
In terms of specific parameters, WiiM Amp supports 192 kHz / 24-bit variable bit rate audio transmission and uses ESS Sabre ES9018 DAC to provide silver and deep space gray models. The price is $299 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 2141 yuan).
