CTOnews.com, November 23, according to CCTV news quoting the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 18:00:04 on November 23, 2023, China successfully launched the satellite Internet technology test satellite from Xichang Satellite launch Center using the long March II carrier rocket and the upper stage of Expedition 3. The satellite entered the scheduled orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite Internet technology test satellite is developed by the Micro Satellite Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai Micro Satellite Engineering Center).

This mission is the 50th satellite launch mission of the Institute of Micro Satellite Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. So far, the institute has successfully launched 96 satellites covering communications, navigation, remote sensing, science, micro-nano and other fields.

CTOnews.com noted that this is not the first successful launch of China's satellite Internet technology test satellite. 19:00 on 9 July this year, China used the long March 2C carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite launch Center and successfully launched the satellite Internet technology test satellite into space, the satellite entered the scheduled orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success.
